The idea for this animation was starting referencing the opening of movie curtains, followed by an emphasis on the “GET TICKETS” CTA
We wanted to call out the exclusive movie titles that AMC Cinema provides. We added an animated carousel with the latest titles
Transitions for screens needed to be sleek and contextual. You can browse through the catalog of movies by tapping the “now playing” movie.

Inspired on uber’s animated iconography: I worked on making the rating experience as fun and engaging as possible.
Show times can sometimes be a hassle, especially if you change your mind last minute. I designed an loading interaction that would change depending on the result of your query.
I made sure that no corner of the app was left out. That included adding animation to the empty states of the app to make sure that it was not a jarring experience.
For the completion of the purchase I decided to keep it simple and add a subtle image animation to focus on the title of the selected movie.
